Summer summer summer time!

So we have been having alot of fun the past few weeks.... We took the boys to Six Flags New England on the hottest day of the year (what were we thinking??) We went on a few of the "dry rides" and they were fun especially in Wiggle World...
but it was just soo hot.. So we got on our swimsuits.
Hmmm This was no easy task... In a dark, hot changing room with a bench that my own butt didn't fit on let alone trying to change two kids.. but after the adventure of getting dressed we hit the water park (Hurricane Harbor)! It was awesome.. There were water slides for kids Little Red's age. He had a blast running around the water slides and then I thought we could try the cargo net area.. Ha, little did I know my fearless 3 year old could maneuver way better then me... we were stuck on a wobbly bridge when the water let loose and huge buckets came tumbling down on us. Matthew just giggled and all I could do was laugh... It was awesome!!! Dimples loved splashing in the water and watching his big brother play... He was exhausted halfway through the day and passed right out...

We spent the night in a hotel, which we all enjoy! I love sleeping in a big, comfy, bed and walking down for a yummy breakfast in the morning. It was great... here they are all refreshed!

So one of my dearest friends sent this adorable (perfectly matched) shirt for Jake. It says "Who backfired" and let me tell you.. this kid really does have some gas.. stinky pete is his name...

So I never promised not to share at least one tubby picture with family and friends... Here it is.. The boys and one of their first tubs together.. They love splashing each other and just clowning around in the tub. It is so much fun. Needless to say we all end up soaked after a tub though...

  1. Addyson LOVES hotels. In fact, it's the most exciting part about going somewhere for her. Cracks me up.

And isn't bathing them together just so much easier? Not sure how long we'll make it work...another year maybe? I suppose it all depends on how "aware" Addyson becomes.
